Kate Winslet is in the middle of a year's break from acting, but she admits she hasn't used any of her free time for self-improvement.

The five-time Oscar nominee is thrilled to be spending her days with her children Mia and Alfie, but she wishes she had been more organized during her year off.

She reveals, "I wish I could tell you I'd been doing a cookery course or learned French. I am not organized in myself that way at all. I am incredibly organized with my friends and family, but when it comes to me, I can't even get my act together to go to the gym.

"The year off was for two reasons, the main one being just wanting to be with the kids. As opposed to being with the kids and work."
