Ryan Phillippe has described his split from Reese Witherspoon as the "most difficult time" in his life.

Ryan - who separated from the 'Legally Blonde' actress last October after seven years of marriage - has struggled to deal with the break-up.

He has vowed to stay strong for the sake of his children, Ava, seven, and Deacon, three, with Reese.

He says : "This is the most difficult time in my life. I must stay focused on my kids."

The 32-year-old actor has found it stressful having to play out his divorce in the public eye - but conceded it was part of being famous.

Lindsay Lohan left rehab last week and spent the weekend clubbing in Hollywood.

The 'Mean Girls' star - who checked herself into Los Angeles' Wonderland Center on January 17 to be treated for alcoholism - left the clinic last week and hit the town straight away.

On Friday night (02.02.07) Lindsay was seen laughing and joking with hotel heiress Paris Hilton as they left the Les Deux nightclub.

The 'Just My Luck' star then spent Saturday night (03.02.07) partying with friends at trendy nightspot Teddy's, before heading to Area nightclub.

Lindsay - who admitted herself to rehab following an all-night drinking binge at the Golden Globes (15.01.07) - was not seen drinking over the weekend.

Jessica Simpson wants to adopt.

The singer-and-actress wants to have a big family but fears she may not be able to cope with childbirth more than once.

She says: "I want to adopt before I actually have my own kids. I want three kids - but I don't know if I can give birth three times. I'll have to see how much pain is involved first time round!"

Jessica, who split from husband Nick Lachey in November 2005, insists she has also been inspired to adopt by Angelina Jolie - who has two adopted children, Maddox and Zahara.

She explained: "I think Angelina Jolie has done amazing things. The international adoption rate has skyrocketed."

As well as wanting to adopt, Jessica - whose new album 'A Public Affair' comes out on February 12 - also wants to "save the world".

The AVIATOR actress says, "We didn't like each other at first. He thought I was aloof, I thought that he was arrogant. One day I told him a joke that Geoffrey Rush had told me and he just laughed his head off.

"Once he kissed me, that was it! It just shows you how wrong you can be. I was - and still am - swept away."
