Eva Mendes is "obsessed" with cemeteries.

The Cuban-American actress - who stars in new comic book movie 'Ghost Rider', which focuses on a motorcycle stuntman, Johnny Blaze, who sells his soul to the devil - is fascinated by graveyards because they are "beautiful".

Mendes, 32, said: "I'm somewhat obsessed with cemeteries. There's just something so beautiful about them."

The beautiful star - who has also starred in 'Hitch' and 'Urban Legends: Final Cut' - also confessed she believes in the afterlife.

She said: "I saw my uncle's corpse at his funeral recently. It was very surreal and had a very strange effect on me. I touched it, and he was so cold.

"His soul was clearly gone. Seeing the dead body gave me faith that our energy moves on somewhere else."

When Eva dies she wants to be cremated and have her ashes scattered .

She explained: "I don't know that I've found my special place yet, but if I were to die today, I'd say probably scattered off the shore of Cuba. I think that would be nice."

Olivier Martinez has confessed he demands perfection in a partner.

The French actor - who recently split from Kylie Minogue - has admitted that while he doesn't like working out, he expects other people to have perfect figures.

Olivier says: "I don't like the gym so I don't do it much. I'm not obsessed about my body either - I'm obsessed about other bodies.

"I come from a family of sportsmen so health is important. If you do what you want without any excess you're fine."

The 'Blood and Chocolate' star, who grew up in Paris, also revealed he had never seen a cow until he was 20.

The 41-year-old said: "I like nature. You have to escape the city once in a while. It's a joke but I saw my first cow when I was 20. I come from the suburbs but it's nice to be connected to the elements."

Britney Spears has been snubbed by a fashion designer because of her "unrespectable" image.

The 'Toxic' singer's request for a limited edition Heatherette clutch bag designed by model Lydia Hearst was turned down, because Hearst doesn't think she is a good role model.

A source says: "Britney wanted to go backstage at the Heatherette fashion show during New York Fashion Week to collect a bag and promised to carry it to her front-row seat at where she would be photographed with it. But there were only 100 bags and her offer was politely declined." Hearst said: "I'm only giving the bag to accomplished young women who are doing something positive to affect the world around them.

They are women I look up to and respect, like Gwyneth Paltrow, Sarah Jessica Parker and Anne Hathaway. They share the same high standards, and give back to the communities in which they live."

After her request was turned down, Britney - who has been pictured looking dishevelled and bloated while out partying in recent weeks - did not appear at the fashion show at all in the end.

The pop superstar's representative, Leslie Sloane Zelnick, has denied the reports, saying: "It's not true."

Britney - who has two sons, 18-month-old Sean Preston and seven-month-old Jayden James - is currently divorcing estranged husband Kevin Federline

Katie became stepmother to Nicole's adopted children, Isabella and Conor, when she married Nicole's ex-husband Tom Cruise, and the two actresses consult on their upbringing.

A source said: "Katie was having lunch with friends in Beverly Hills when Isabella rang her to talk to her about a party she was going to.

"Katie said, 'That was Bella. She wants to wear a dress to a birthday party but I think it is much too grown up for her. But she says her mother approves. So I need to check with Nicole.'

"Then after she'd made the call to Nicole she told her friends, 'Nicole agrees with me. The dress is all wrong. The drama of it all! If I've learned one thing about teenagers, it's that little things mean a lot.' "

Katie - who has a nine-month-old daughter, Suri, with Tom - is keen to be a good mother to Isabella, 14, and 12-year-old Conor, and wants to earn their love and respect herself.

A source says: "She didn't want the children to respect her only because Tom told them to, but rather because they wanted to.

Beyoncé Knowles' father refused to watch her pose in a skimpy bikini for Sports Illustrated magazine.

The singer - who was terrified about appearing on the cover of the magazine's famous annual swimsuit issue - has revealed her father Matthew, who is also her manager, couldn't bear to see her pose in revealing beachwear.

Beyoncé said: "Kelly Rowland showed up. My mom was there, so was my nephew. Dad was going to come, but he said, 'Well, I'll meet you in Orlando after the shoot. I'm not so sure that I want to see this. All my blessings - you're a big girl. But I'm not so sure I want to see it.' "

Beyoncé - who is following in the footsteps of Elle Macpherson, Heidi Klum and Tyra Banks by posing in a swimsuit for the magazine - embarked on a strict diet to prepare for the shoot.

She said: "I had to watch what I ate, which was tough because the shoot was right after Thanksgiving. At dinner, I kept thinking, 'This extra piece of pie will show up.'

"I always make sure I celebrate it up, but I was so terrified with every little thing I ate this year.

"The shoot took a lot of guts. I'm a really shy person. Everyday I play a character and I had to tap into that."
