Scarlett Johansson claims nobody ogled her when she stripped off naked for the cover of Vanity Fair magazine. The Lost In Translation star –who was photographed in the nude with British actress Keira Knightley for the publication – insists no one took a second look when the pair’s underwear was cut off.

Scarlett told Esquire magazine: “We were going to be wearing thongs but the stylist snipped them off. Here we are, Keira and I, and we are totally naked, and some guy is on his Black Berry computer. Everyone was busy working. But I guess it’s better than if they were all looking at me. It was surprisingly comfortable.

Meanwhile, Scarlett has vowed to strip for a movie-one day.

The Black Dahlia actress, famed for her curvaceous body, insists she is ready to bare-all for the right part.

British actress Kate Winslet has spoken out over the “unbelievably disturbing” trend of super thin stars. The 31-year-old mother of two, who is currently promoting her film Holiday, says that the “image of perfection” is “just getting thinner and thinner.”

Titanic star Kate said she has bucked this trend by refusing to give in to pressures to slim down to tiny sizes.

She hoped that “in some small way”, she has made a difference. Kate explained that she does what she can in her house to keep things realistic. “We don’t have any magazines in the house”, she said adding that these publications are “damaging”.

“I don’t want to be a finger pointer…but young girls are very impressionable”, she says.

British model-actress Elizabeth Hurley prefers to keep celebrity best friends and says it’s “too exhausting” to hang around ordinary people.

However, Hurley, who plans to wed partner Arun Nayar in India next year, hopes her wedding won’t feel like a celebrity event despite inviting all her famous pals to the ceremony.

She says: “All I know is, I want my wedding to be a very, very private affair. I don’t want anything to take place in public where it feels like a movie premiere. In the end, famous people only ever end up hanging out with other famous people or in private places because it’s just too exhausting to be stared at and bothered the whole time.

“So of my happiest memories are sitting in a pavement café, having some coffee, watching the world go round –and those days are just gone now.”

Hurley –who already has a four-year-old son Damian –recently said she is desperate to extend her family after she marries Arun Nayar in March next year.
